JAKARTA - BYD Auto announced that the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) titled God's Eye has now installed more than 2 million vehicles in China. BYD is also ready to expand the advanced features to several other models.

The company noted that throughout October 2025, there were 316,759 units of cars sold with this technology. Of that figure, the core brand BYD contributed 279,724 units, followed by 29,974 units of Fangchengbao sub-brand, 6,409 units of Denza, and 652 units of Yangwang.

BYD explained that its fleet of cars that have used God's Eye produces more than 130 million kilometers of driving data every day. This large-scale data is the company's main basis for improving software quality and accelerating the development of the ADAS feature.

The company insists that their strategy is not only to apply driver assistance technology to premium models, but rather to expand it to almost all product lines. This approach is a differentiator of several competitors who generally introduce similar technologies to high-end vehicles first.

"With installation figures having passed two million in a short time, our system adoption shows significant acceleration," BYD wrote in its official statement, as reported by Carnewschina, Saturday, November 15.

The mass implementation of the ADAS was also supported by the use of the latest platforms such as e-Platform 3.0 and DM-i lines, which brought improvements to high-resolution cameras, millimeter-wave radars, and stronger computing capabilities.

These components allow the driver assistance system to work more accurately in various conditions. This BYD move shows the company's strong impetus to expand driver assistance technology to more vehicle segments, while strengthening its position in the electrification-based automotive ecosystem and software in China.
