Mitsubishi Xpander And Xpander Cross 2026 Officially Present In Neighboring Countries

JAKARTA - Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMCC) officially launched Xpander and Xpander Cross 2026. MPV 7 seater, which had previously been present in Indonesia some time ago.

Quoting from the Top Gear PH page, Monday, September 1, this latest model comes with a bolder and more dynamic design. That is, getting some improvements.

Starting from the exterior, Xpander gets an all-black grip with silver trim accents, new bumpers, and redesigned LED fog light. Other exterior changes include a new 17-inch alloy rim and an updated rear bumper.

Xpander Cross, the SUV-inspired version gets a fiercer grip and a stronger bumper, making it look more resilient. The car is also equipped with 17-inch alloy rims, although with different designs to stand out more than the standard Xpander.

The additional exterior features present on the Xpander Cross include a rooftop rail, an updated rear bumper, and the use of a luxurious black body bidding.

Entering the cabin, the Xpander 2026 now comes with an updated dashboard. For starters, the GLS and Xpander Cross models now come with an 8-inch digital instrument panel from XForce. There is also a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports the wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay.

For better external visibility, GLS and Xpander Cross get a 360-degree view monitor. Lower variants only get standard gauges, rear cameras, and a smaller 7-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.

Exclusive only for Xpander Cross is a new two-color leather seat with a heat shield for better comfort, even on the hottest day. Meanwhile, another Xpander 2026 variant comes with a cloth seat as standard.

Other features available on this latest Xpander include electronic parking brakes (usual hand brakes on the GLX variant), digital AC (dinal type for the GLX model), six speaker sound system (four speakers for GLX), start button, and tilt/telescopic steering setup.

Regarding the heart, the runway does not change, it still uses a 4A91 four-cylinder 1.5L engine with a MIVEC. This machine produces 105 PS power at 6000 rpm with a 141 Nm torque at 4000 rpm and can be combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic 4-speed.

For the sake of calm of mind while driving, Xpander 2026 is available with safety features, such as active stability control, traction control, help to start at inclines, anchoring ISOFIX child seats, and double air bags.

Talking about the price, this car starts at 1,099,000 pesos or around Rp. 316 million for the Xpander model GLX M/T. Meanwhile, Xpander Cross AT touched 1,378,000 pesos or Rp. 396 million.
