This New Luxury Electric SUV From Huawei Offers 705 Km Of Fantastic Tempuh Distance

JAKARTA - The collaboration of giant technology manufacturer Huawei, with Seres through the Aito brand, has made a new history again. Today, Aito officially launched the Aito M8 EV at an grand HarmonyOS Smart Mobility event.

Citing CarNewsChina, this premium electricity SUV clearly comes with various advanced features, extraordinary distances, and competitive prices, starting from 359,800 yuan or around Rp. 813 million.

The Aito M8 EV is available in six different configurations, either with five or six seats, as well as a rear wheel drive (RWD) option and all-wheel drive (AWD). All variants are powered by 100 kWh of battery supplied by CATL, the world's largest battery manufacturer. The standard RWD variant has a maximum distance of up to 705 km based on CLTC standards, making it the ideal choice for long-distance travel.

By design, the M8 EV retains the family's typical design language Aito with an integrated "Nebula" light cluster and a sleek full back light. With a length of 5190 mm, 1999 mm wide, and 1795 mm high, as well as a wheelbase of 3105 mm, the M8 EV offers a very spacious interior space and a dashing look.

The interior of the cabin spoils its users with three sophisticated large screens, a mini refrigerator with a compressor, and a total of 26 smart storage compartments. Safety and convenience features are further enhanced with advanced Huawei autonomous technology, including the 192-line LiDAR, one high-precision solid-state LiDAR behind, and five 4D millimeter wave radars.

The M8 EV runway is the Huawei DriveONE high-voltage 7-in-1 electric drive system self-developed by Huawei. According to Richard Yu, CEO of the Huawei BG Terminal, this system is very efficient, space efficient, and powerful. The basic variant is powered by a single electric motor on the back axis with an output of 227 kW (304 hp), while the AWD variant has a combined output of 387 kW (519 hp), promising stunning acceleration. With all these advantages, the Aito M8 EV is ready to be a strong competitor in the global electric SUV market.
