GAC Launches EREV Version Of Hyptec HL In China, One Way Can Take 1,369 Km

JAKARTA - GAC officially launched the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) variant from Hyptec HL in China, adding to the choice of prospective consumers to own cars with extraordinary distances.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, August 21, this car is available in four variants. Covering configurations of 5 and 6 passengers, this new model is priced between 269,800 and 299,800 yuan or the range of Rp612-680 million.

Equipped with the latest Xingyuan range expansion system from GAC, the Hyptec HL offers a pure CLTC electric range of 350 km and a comprehensive range of 1,369 km.

Built on the AEP 3.0 GAC platform, Hyptec HL has a body dimension of 5,126 mm long, a width of 1,990 mm, a height of 1,750 mm and a wheelbase of 3,088 mm. In a similar design to the BEV variant where the chassis adopts a double-wishbone suspension system in front and a five-link suspension system behind.

The stiffness of the suspension can be adjusted automatically by utilizing camera data and lidar sensors to predict road obstacles. In addition, the front is equipped with a screen that can display special text digitally.

This car has been embedded with this advanced driving assistance system from GSD (GAC Self-Driving) without a map belonging to GAC that utilizes the Momenta algorithm and is powered by the Nvidia Drive Orin-X chip. The entire series is equipped with a lidar m, three millimeter wave radars, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars.

Regarding the heart of the runway, this car is embedded with 1.5DHE engines and rear electric motors, which are combined with a 60.33 kWh Super Hybrid Freevoy (Litium terner) battery from CATL. The maximum power is 250 kW (335 hp) and the peak torque is 430 Nm.

Entering the cabin, there are 8.8-inch square instrument panels, 27-inch HUD, and a 17.3-inch 3K central control screen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. 17.3-inch entertainment screens are also available for rear passengers to provide more comfort.
