For charging, Atto 2 is equipped with an AC 7 kW onboard charger, while fast charging is supported up to 82 kW DC based on the Hong Kong market model with the same specifications, it takes 28 minutes to achieve a 30-80 percent charging status.

Interestingly, this car is also equipped with Vehicle to Load or V2L which can supply vehicle power to several other needs, with a power of 3.3 kW.

Entering the cabin, this car is equipped with an 8.8-inch driver instrument display and a 12.8-inch infotainment display. Smart phones can be recharged via a 50-watt wireless charging pad located in the center console, just below the infotainment screen. The smartphone connectivity offered by Atto 2 includes Apple's wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

Speaking of prices, BYD Atto 2 in Malaysia is priced at 100,000 ringgit or around Rp387 million.

Will you be present in Indonesia?

BYD Motor Indonesia recently officially launched Atto 1 or known as Seagull in the main Chinese market. This car is quite interesting because the price is quite affordable. So will Atto 2 enter Indonesia too?

Head of PR & Government Relations BYD Motor Indonesia Luther T. Panjaitan, said that Atto's name was due to a global strategy. Naming provides good and easy acceptance.

"It will be seen later when we have launched several other products with the same name, using different back numbers," said Luther when met some time ago.

Of course, it is highly anticipated for the presence of this model for the Indonesian market, considering that it complements Atto's existing line-up.
