Xiaomi YU7 Electric Car Officially Launches, Prices Start At IDR 500 Million

JAKARTA - Xiaomi officially launched its second electric car, which was previously present to fill the sedan segment, is now targeting the SUV market. The model in question is YU7.

Xiaomi YU7 comes in three variants starting from the Standard version of the RWD which is priced starting from 253,500 yuan or around Rp570 million.

"Then Pro AWD which is at 279,900 yuan or Rp630 million and Max AWD which is at 32,900 yuan or Rp740 million," reads a written statement received on Saturday, June 28.

The Standard Variant as a beginner's choice can reach a distance of up to 835 km according to CLTC standards, best in the class of medium- and upper electric SUVs.

For the AWD variant, the distance reaches 770 km CLTC, surpassing the four-wheeled electric car in its class.

Xiaomi YU7's long-range performance is supported by advanced electric propulsion platforms. All variants use the 800V silicon carbide platform which allows ultra-fast charging up to 5.2C. With this technology, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 12 minutes, and in 15 minutes it is enough to cover a distance of up to 620 km.
