Prioritize Driving Comfort, BYD Sealion 7 Will Be Tried From Jakarta To Bandung Today

JAKARTA - PT BYD Motor Indonesia today invited several media crews, including VOI to experience the driving experience of the latest BYD Sealion 7 introduced at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025.

The media drive event will take place on February 26-27, the trip will start from BYD Arista in the BSD area, Tangerang to Bandung and return to Jakarta.

The model is a form of commitment from manufacturers to always present a number of innovative products and is designed to answer the growing market needs.

Taking a closer look at the Sealion 7 SUV, this one electric car comes with a length of 4,830 mm, a width of 1,925 mm, a height of 1,620 mm and a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. Present in two variant choices, for the Performance variant has a ground clearance as high as 163 mm and for the Premium variant, which is as high as 157 mm.

In design, the front of BYD Sealion 7 looks futuristic thanks to the presence of Avant Garde Dynamic Front Face and Ocean X Face, giving a charming impression that distinguishes it from other electric SUVs and makes the front look more dynamic. The U-shaped double floating front light, like a pair of sharp eyes, provides this new model with a strong character.

Meanwhile, the back light is in the form of a dynamic droplet, with a smooth curve and an integrated horizontal design giving a visual impression on the wide back.

As mentioned above this model comes in two variants, for Premiums equipped with 82.56 kWh batteries capable of providing a distance of 567 km in one charge. This variant has acceleration from 0-100 km/hour in just 6.7 seconds.
