Kia Reveals Exterior Details Of EV4 Sedan And Hatchback Before The Official Debut On February 24

JAKARTA Kia Corporation today opens the veil of the mystery of EV4's exterior design, its newest electric model that will be present in the sedan and hatchback variants. This disclosure was made ahead of the Kia EV Day 2025 event which will be held in Tarragona, Spain on February 24.

EV4 is claimed to be ready to be a serious challenger in the electric car market, offering a combination of innovation, futuristic design, and practicality. EV4 is also said to target young consumers who are lifestyle-oriented and like to explore new things.

"Kia EV4 is a reflection of our commitment to rethink mobility and expand the limits of what design can achieve. By offering sedan variants and hatchbacks, we present to our customers the unique experience of modernity and practicality that defines the Kia EV family, in a manner that fits their various lifestyles and needs," said Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design Karim Habib, in a global manufacturer release, February 17.

Carrying the philosophy of Kia's 'Opposites United' design, EV4 combines sharp lines with bold technical details. The aerodynamic design can be seen from the low engine hood, fastback profile, and unique roof spoilers. Kia claims EV4 as a progressive expression of electric mobility for customers seeking new technology and the freedom to explore, as well as expanding the appeal of the Kia EV lineup.

Differences In Sedan And Hatchback And The Presence Of More Sporty GT-Line Variants

EV4 sedan offers a slim look with a low nose and long-tail silhouette. Its unique roof spoiler further strengthens the premium impression. Meanwhile, EV4 hatchbacks appear more concise and versatile, with contrasted black vertical C pillars and firm lines. Both use 19-inch wheels with complicated technical line patterns, reflecting the design philosophy of 'Opposes United'.

The front two variants feature the face of a typical Kia EV electric tiger, equipped with vertical headlights and iconic Map Star lights. This dynamic combination highlights the wide display and sporty of the vehicle. The main difference in the sedan lies in its long and streamlined silhouette, while the hatchback offers a more solid and compact impression.

Kia also offers GT-Line variants equipped with exclusive design elements, creating more dynamic characters. Wing-shaped front and back bumpers give a stronger and slimmer impression, while the 19-inch triangular-motivated rim enhances futuristic and sporty nuances.
