BMW Releases One Of The Lower Variants Of The 5th Series Of Touring In Japan, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Germany, BMW inaugurated the launch of the latest Series-5 Touring variant by presenting 523i in Japan or one of the lowest ranks of Series-5 in the country of Sakura.

Launching from the BMW Blog, Tuesday, February 4, this wagon-style car has a 4-cylinder engine combined with a 48V mid-hybrid so that it produces 188 hp of power and 310 Nm of torque.

Just like in some global markets, this one car has an elongated dimension. Series-5 Touring has a more dynamic design than its predecessor with a length of 5,060 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, and a height of 1,515 mm, as well as a wheelbase of up to 2,995 mm, providing room for a spacious interior.

Series-5 Touring is equipped with a distinctive goal decorated by contour lighting from BMW Iconic Glow as optional and illumination with elements of vertical LED elements that function as indicators and DRL, respectively.

The side view features a flat window and back wing that reinforces the elegant box design. Then, the pattern on the back rim is precise, along with a flat rear window, showing a broad and dashing posture on this model.

Furthermore, the manufacturer provided the car with light rims measuring 18 inches and 19 inches or 21 inches as optional.

This car is available in optional equipment such as BMW Individual Merino leather seat in several two-color variants. Other highlights of the optional equipment program include the roof of the panoramic glass and the sound system of Bowers & Wilkins as many as 18 high-quality speakers.

For the Japanese market, BMW sells this luxury estate at prices ranging from 8.4 million yen or equivalent to Rp883 million. Then for the M Sport version, 523i Touring costs 9.1 million yen or around Rp957.9 million.

BMW has opened an ordering period for this model in the country's rising sun market and will begin deliveries in March.
