Toyota Opens Ordering For BZ3X SUV, Prices Starting From IDR 200 Million

JAKARTA - Toyota and GAC joint ventures have opened a pure electric Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) order for the Chinese market, which is priced starting at IDR 217 million.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, December 9, the electric car comes in three variants ranging from 430 Air+, 520 Pro+, and 620 Max, and the launch will take place in March 2025.

Customers who want to enjoy priority delivery services can spend more by paying a down payment of 2,000 yuan, or around Rp. 4.3 million.

In design, this car adopts a 'pure electric aesthetic' design featuring separate headlights, hidden door handles like electric cars in general, large panoramic sunsets, and daytime running lights designed with a sleek crystal light strip consisting of 112 LED lights.

There are seven color choices that consumers can choose, ranging from Sky White, Pure Snow White, Distant Mountain Gray, Bright Moon Silver, Vast Black, Sky Pink, and Cyber Gold. In dimensions, Toyota bZ3X comes with a length of 4,600 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, a height of 1,645 mm, with a wheelbase of 2765 mm.

This car offers sophistication, namely from its driving assistance system or ADS which packs a 5.0 Momenta supported by the Nvidia DRIVE AGX Orin X chip and realized through 27 sensors, including 11 high-definition cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 millimeter wave radars, and lidar.

Toyota bZ3X is powered by a TZ175XSAY501 electric motor produced by Guangzhou Nidec Auto Drive System Co., Ltd. with a maximum power of 150 kW (201 hp), paired with a 50.03 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which provides a distance of 430 km, and two other distance options of 520 km and 620 km in CLTC count.
