Ioniq 9 launched at the iconic Goldstein House in LA, a well-known mid-century modern architectural building. This unique venue reflects Hyundai Motor's vision of positioning Ioniq's ranks as a symbol of innovation and progress in the EV market, underlining his leadership in electrification and company targets to offer a complete line of 23 EV models by 2030.
Following the success of Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 as three-fold winners at the World Car of the Year Awards in 2022 and 2023, Hyundai hopes that Ioniq 9 can continue its electrification advantage.
Wide And Luxury Interior
Ioniq 9 offers a wide space with a wide second and third row space, providing an extraordinary experience for passengers. Its interior design is characterized by elliptic elements and a calming tone to create an atmosphere like a lounge. This provides a calm and natural feel, especially when immersed in the natural light of the Panoramic Sunroof.

Sophisticated Features
Ioniq 9 is equipped with various advanced features, such as a relaxation chair in the first and second rows that can be completely donated, as well as a Dynamic Body Care system that uses pressure and vibrations to stimulate blood flow and circulation.
In addition, Ioniq 9 also offers a rotating seat in the second row, allowing passengers in the second and third row to face each other when the vehicle is silent. This feature increases interaction and communication between passengers.
Elegan's Aerodynamic Design
Ioniq 9's 'Aerosthetic' exterior design reflects Hyundai Motor's commitment to combining aerodynamic innovations with advanced futuristic styles. Ioniq 9's front-end design features an integrated Parametric Pixel into LED light units and bottom facilities, creating a unique and sophisticated display.
Battery And Performance
Ioniq 9 is backed by Hyundai Motor's innovative E-GMP platform, which offers high-capacity batteries and high-voltage for wide electric range and fast charging.
Meanwhile, the batteries used are high-voltage NCM lithium-ion offering system energy of 110.3 kWh. Ioniq 9 is claimed to be able to reach the electric range of 620 km WLTP and the energy consumption targeted by WLTP is 194 kilometers/km for the RWD model.
Battery charging is also fast from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes using a 350 kW charger, while the vehicle-to-load (V2L) platform-type convenience feature plus a 400V/800V multi-charge capability reduces barriers in electric vehicle adoption.
Especially for the Performance variant, it is said to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 5.2 seconds, while the Long-Range AWD variant takes 6.7 seconds, and the Long-Range RWD version takes 9.4 seconds. In terms of medium distance acceleration, such as overtaking other vehicles, the Performance model accelerates from 80 to 120 km/hour in 3.4 seconds. The Long-Range AWD variant completes it in 4.8 seconds, while the Long-Range RWD version takes 6.8 seconds.
