Hyundai officially launched a special edition of its sedan, namely Elantra N TCR Edition. This model is designed to increase the enthusiasm of high-performance car lovers.
The model, called the Avante N TCR Edition in the South Korean market, was built inspired by the Hyundai racing car which was successful in the Touring Car Racing (TCR) event, where manufacturers have joined this competition since 2017.
"Hyundai Motor has combined the experience and expertise gathered in motorcycle sports into the Elantra N TCR Edition," said N Brand Vice President Joon Park, quoted from the manufacturer's official website, Monday, November 18.
The sedan takes several components that can improve its performance.
Elantra N TCR Edition is equipped with a light-weight Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, which can be adjusted to provide optimal downforce settings for various driving conditions and preferences.
This high-performance sedan is equipped with a sturdy but light 19-inch NTCR rim that covers the four-piston N Performance braking system as a standard.
The appearance of this car is also more special with the presence of a wide N sticker on its exterior such as a TCR racing car. However, this option is only available for the South Korean market.

Moving to the interior, the DNA of the motorsport from Hyundai N is getting stronger with the presence of an aerospace steering wheel with a marker of Performance Blue. Then, there is a typical blue N seat belt with a TCR Edition badge exclusively.
Hyundai did not mention an increase in power in this model. Thus, Elantra N TCR Edition maintains its performance with a segaris 4-cylinder engine combined with eight DCT acceleration transmissions which produce 276 dk of power and 392 Nm of torque.
This sporty sedan can go from 0 to 100 km/h within 5.3 seconds with the highest speed of up to 250 km/hour.
The manufacturer with the 'H' lopsided logo plans to launch the Elantra N TCR Edition in South Korea first next month and then expand its availability to the global market in 2025.
