JAKARTA - Honda is preparing to launch the latest generation of its compact sedan, Amaze for the Indian market. Ahead of its launch on December 4, this manufacturer from Japan signaled its exterior and interior designs.

Launching CarDekho, Wednesday, November 13, the sketch has a look inspired by City models and Record global specifications.

This upright H manufacturer offers its front with a thick chrome cross that connects the twin-pod LED front light cluster, with a rectangular goal and a bumper design resembling the Accord.

Then the side has multi-spoke rims and a slimmer LED backlight and a tall bumper like Honda City.

The interior is expected to take the design from City or the Eleve SUV. The cabin will be decorated with black and cream with a triple-bar steering wheel. In addition, the dashboard is equipped with a free-standing touch screen along with a patterned trim insertion.

The scheme also hints at a semi-digital interior display with technology such as lane-keeping assists, which will later be included in the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) package.

In addition, the advanced features that are expected to be present in Amaze's third generation are wireless phone chargers, automatic air conditioning, electrically and folded rear-view mirror, and there is a sunroof on one panel. Safety is also a priority for manufacturers by presenting six airbags and rear cameras.

Although the details of the specifications have not been disclosed, it is estimated that the latest Honda Amaze will have the same 1.2 liter naturally-asspirated machine as before with a power of up to 90 ps and a torque of 110 Nm. It is hoped that this sedan will be present in the variant of manual transmission of five accelerations and CVT.

It is estimated that this latest Honda Amaze will be priced at 750,000 rupees or equivalent to Rp140.6 million and will compete with the fourth generation Suzuki Dzire which has been launched recently in India.

The third-generation amaze was designed at Honda's R&D Asia Pacific center in Thailand after extensive surveys in India to offer a different experience and increase premium appeal in its class.
