Brabus Introduces Rocket GTS, Monster-powered Shooting Brakes

JAKARTA - A tuning company from Germany, Brabus has re-launched its newest high-performance product based on Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E Performance.

Unlike the base version which has a roadster style with a retractable roof, the Brabus designed this car to turn it into a Shooting Brake or wagon in a more aggressive and wild form.

Launching from Motor1, Tuesday, October 29, this model called the Brabus Rocket GTS was built entirely with carbon fiber material that had light weights. The front phase is only equipped with a standout spoiler to reduce lift, but it also helps smooth the transition to a wider front line.

The side has a stiff impression that up to the back with a folding roof has been removed in order to reduce weight. Then, the back has a large-dimensional aggressive diffuser with a striking quad exhaust tip.

The back is equipped with a simple duck tail spoiler that gives a sporty and aerodynamic impression on the Rocket GTS Brabus.

Then, the Brabus also provided this model with 21 inches of rim on the front and 22 inches on the back. Meanwhile, brakes and suspensions have also been improved so that their performance becomes more prime in various aspects.

In addition to the exterior, the carbon fiber layer also comes on the interior along with an alcantara layer and a layered seat. It is also decorated with white contrasting stitches and blue lighting around the inside.

This super-aggressive paired car has a 4.4 liter V8 engine measuring 785 dk combined with a 201 dk electric motor, resulting in a maximum of 1,000 dk of power.

Assisted by the transmission of nine automatic accelerations, this latest shooting brake can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/hour in 2.7 seconds and can speed up to 317 km/hour.

The brabus did not mention the price of this Rocket GTS or the number of units available. But this could be an attractive option for high-performance wagon lovers.
