Had Been Exhibited At GIIAS 2024, MG Talks About The Possibility Of Presenting MG4 EV XPower In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Morris Garages (MG) Motor Indonesia presented various new models, at the GIIAS 2024 exhibition which took place last July.

One of the things that attracted attention was the MG4 EV XPower which was a high-performance hatchback. So does MG plan to bring the model to Indonesia?

Responding to this, Chief Operating Officer of MG Motor Indonesia, He Guowei (Alec), revealed that there are plans to present the model.

"There is for planning, meaning this is an electric car performance car, maybe the price can also be higher," he said, when met in the BSD area, some time ago.

Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Alec said, until now MG is still considering opening orders in large quantities, it could be done in a different way.

"We could open it for by orders, so the message can go directly to the website because this is special and exclusive," he added.

Quoting from the MG UK page, the design of the MG XPower model is not much different from other variants, it's just that there are special improvements such as the "XPower" "timeper brake" orange color, two color black roof, the latest 18-inch rim with Bridgestone Turanza tires, and updated trim accents.

Performance, Power is equipped with a dual electric motor that powers 429 dk and 600 Nm of torque, making it the largest MG car to date. This model comes with a four-wheel drive system and its acceleration is capable of reaching 0-100 km/hour in 3.8 seconds, also supported by the latest technology in terms of launch control.

MG uses a battery with a capacity of 62 kWh on XPower with a range of only 348 km. With this battery, this car can charge a fast battery from 10-80 percent within 35 minutes with a charging capacity of 150 kW.

Regarding the price, MG 4 EV XPower is priced at 36,495 pounds, or around Rp. 696.9 million with the latest color choice for Racing Green.
