JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from the United States (US), Chevrolet has officially brought the latest Captiva model for the Philippine market which also marks the return of this SUV in the country.
Different from the previous generation, all-new Captiva was built on the same base as Wuling Almaz in Indonesia, Baojun 530 in China, and MG Hector for the Indian market.
Launching from Top Gear Philippines, Monday, October 21, this car has a modern style with a large front fasia decorated with a large grip filled with the iconic Chevrolet logo. Then, there is a chrom accent and flanked by a pair of thin front lights that sweeps back.
The back is decorated with a small back light and a gold badge that emits premium elements with a wide rear glass. The bumper is decorated with a large amount of black trim plastic with a pair of fake exhaust tips in contrast.
The interior is equipped with a digital screen of a 7-inch cluster instrument paired with 10.4-inch infotainment combined with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard.
Meanwhile, the top trim will get some equipment such as a power-adjustable on the driver's seat, a 360 degree view monitor, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunset.

This second-generation Chevrolet Captiva is powered by a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine that can pump up to 148 dk of power and a 255 Nm torque. The machine is coupled to a CVT transmission channeled to the front wheel drive.
