TAM Pockets 700 Hilux Rangga Units, Inden Until Next Year

JAKARTA - After a long wait, All-New Hilux Rangga was officially launched for the Indonesian market. This pickup car is here to offer various needs for all people in the country.

Although its launch has just been inaugurated, PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) has opened an order for this car since the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) last July and is quite in demand by many customers.

Marketing Director of PT TAM Anton Jimmi Suwandi, targets orders from All-New Hilux Rangga to reach 500 units per month and currently have pocketed up to 700 orders.

"Approximately per month an average of 400-500 units. It is most likely that diesel will be dominated by diesel if viewed at the current request," Anton said when met after the launch in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 15.

Anton added, if the supply at the end of the year has reached around 1,000 units, then his party will send the car as soon as possible.

"We will get supplies of up to 1,000 units by the end of this year, so if ordered today maybe we can get the car next year. So it's a bit pivot," added Anton.

All-New Hilux Rangga has superior abilities, which can transport goods in the back tub up to 1.2 tons and the placement of the engine position is placed in front to increase the comfort and safety of driving.

In addition, the company is also working with a number of body builder and aftermarket makers to support conversion needs in the All-New Hilux Rangga as needed by customers.

Toyota Hilux Rangga has the most complete lineup for various needs. Two types of machines are available to meet the needs of customers, from diesel to gasoline.

For the gasoline variant, this commercial model has a 1TR-FE 2,000 cc engine with a magnitude of 139 ps and a torque of 183 Nm. Meanwhile, the diesel type has 2GD-FTV 2,400 cc with a power of 149 ps and a torque of 343 Nm. PT TAM provides six automatic acceleration transmissions for the diesel High variant and a manual five acceleration for diesel and gasoline.

All-New Hilux Rangga is available in ten variants with four of them from gasoline type and six others are diesel. The gasoline variant is priced from Rp. 188.7 million to Rp. 215.7 million and diesel from Rp. 244.7 million to Rp. 304.5 million. All prices include On The Road DKI Jakarta.
