Aito M7 Officially Launches In United Arab Emirates, Uses The Name Seres 7

JAKARTA - The Chinese car brand Aito, the result of a collaboration between Seres and Huawei, officially launched their latest SUV, Seres 7, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to a report from Carnewschina, Monday, October 14, Seres 7 comes to the UAE market with five variants. The lowest price is priced from 210,000 dirhams or around Rp891 million, and the highest variant reaches 260,000 dirhams (Rp1.1 billion).

In dimensions, Seres 7 measures a length of 5,020 mm, a width of 1,945 mm, and a height of 1,760 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The design emits an elegant and futuristic impression suitable for the premium SUV market.

In his cabin, Seres 7 offers convenience with advanced technology. Equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 2K central touch screen measuring 15.6 inches, and a HUD, makes drivers and passengers feel spoiled. There are also wireless charging features, audio systems with 11 speakers, as well as electricly tunable front seats and are compatible with Apple CarPlay.

In terms of performance, Seres 7 comes in two driving options: RWD and AWD. The RWD variant is equipped with a 1.5T engine combined with a permanent magnetic synchronous motor, generating power of 196 kW (263 hp) and torque 354 Nm. This SUV is capable of traveling from 0-100 km/hour in 7.8 seconds.

Meanwhile, AWD's version added an electric motorbike at the front, increasing the total power to 323 kW (433 hp) and torques to 654 Nm, making it 0-100 km/hour in just 3 seconds.

These two variants are equipped with a 60-liter fuel tank and a 40 kWh lithium terner battery pack, which provides a combined range of up to 1,150 km WLTP for RWD and 1,050 km for AWD.

Seres 7 is also planned to enter the Indonesian market, although it is currently still in the study stage because there is no production for the right steering wheel yet. Its presence is expected to add premium SUV options in Indonesia with superior technology and performance.
