From Seres 7 Called Seres 9 Potentially Present In Indonesia, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - PT Sokoindo Automobile had hit the Indonesian automotive market by introducing two popular models in China, namely Seres 7 and Seres 9 Concept, known as the Aito M9 brand.

Head of Marketing & Sales Sokoindo Automobile Doni Putra Okten, revealed the presence of the two models in order to conduct a survey first, and in reality, many were enthusiastic.

"When we do the survey, many are enthusiastic, some even want to go down payment (DP) first," he said, when met in the Jakarta area, some time ago.

Of the two new models brought by Sokoindo, the Seres 9 model will most likely be the next model presented by Seres in Indonesia, after the tiny car Seres E1.

"When viewed from the percentage, Seres 9 might be (the next model)," he added.

Not without reason, he said many were interested in Seres 9 because there was already a pure electric version, in contrast to the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV).

"If the Seres 7 is not full of electricity, but if the Seres 9 already exists and the distance is quite far because it uses large batteries that are very attractive to rich people in Indonesia," he explained.

Currently, Seres 9/Aito M9 is still the largest and most expensive car of the brand, where in China its own price is said to start 500 thousand yuan or equivalent to Rp1.08 billion.

However, Sokoindo cannot confirm when the model will be present in Indonesia and is still waiting for directions from the headquarter because it has a different strategy.

"To be clear when to wait, because here (Indonesia) cannot force a global strategy," he concluded.

In specifications, the Seres 9 Concept is equipped with many Huawei technologies from AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology and more than 300 smart features, Seres 9 offers the concept of a sophisticated, safe, and comfortable full-size electric SUV.

Its flagship features include Intelligent Projection Headlight, Width Indicator, One Touch Open and Close Electric Suction Door with Millimeter Wave Radar, Air Suspension Heavy Adjustment Range, Zero Gravity Seat, and Privacy Shield.

The Seres 9 Cocept exterior is modern and premium, with a length of 5,230 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,800 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,110 mm, making it one of the longest cars in its class. This car is equipped with tires measuring 265/40 R22 (front) and 285/40 R22 (backward) and Panoramic Roof.
