Kia Officially Launches The New Kia Sonet At GIIAS Bandung, This Is The Price

JAKARTA After teasing fans through a teaser on Instagram, KIA finally officially launched The New Kia Sonet at the GIIAS Bandung 2024 event.

This launch not only introduces new products, but also confirms KIA's commitment to embracing the automotive market in West Java, especially Bandung.

Marketing & Development Division Head of PT Kredese Indo Artha (KIA) Ario Soerjo, emphasized that Bandung is one of the most potential automotive markets in Indonesia.

We launched our newest product, The New Kia Sonet, at the largest automotive exhibition in West Java. With a more modern design and advanced features, we are optimistic that The New Kia Sonet will be the main choice for an urban, smart and stylish SUV," said Ario at the launch, Wednesday, September 25.

The New Kia Sonet comes in two variants, namely Ultimate and Premiere. Both of them performed with a modern dynamic exterior design, making them look striking in the compact SUV class. The front is equipped with the typical New Tiger Nose Grille and the New LED Headlamp with the DRL Star Map Lamp and LED Fog Lamp, giving an aggressive and futuristic impression. The 16-inch New Diamond Cutting Alloy rim further strengthens the luxurious and sporty look.

Not only superior in design, The New Kia Sonet is also equipped with qualified safety features. One of them is the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a state-of-the-art technology that helps drivers avoid danger on the road.

KIA also offers The New Kia Sonet with a variety of attractive color choices, including Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, andforming Silver. For performance, Sonet still relies on the Dual CVVT 1,497 cc Smartstream Gamma II DOHC machine, which is capable of generating 115 ps of power at 6,300 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, combined with 8-speed IVT transmission.

Regarding the price, The New Kia Sonet is priced starting from Rp. 349 million for the Premiere variant, while the highest variant, Ultimate Dual Tone, costs Rp. 373 million (OTR Jakarta).
