So VinFast's Cheapest Electric Car In The Philippines, What Are VF 3 Offers?

JAKARTA - The automotive brand from Vietnam, VinFast has confirmed that one of its electric cars called VF 3 will make its debut in the Philippine market and will be the most affordable model.

Launching from AutoIndustrya, Wednesday, September 11, this car will be priced under 800,000 pesos or equivalent to Rp220.3 million in the country. VF 3 will compete with a number of other mini electric cars.

At first glance, VinFast VF 3 features a design similar to Suzuki Jimny, with a sturdy geometric block and a slimmer line, as well as a high ground clearance and a 16-inch rim. Thus, this SUV gives the strong impression of facing various terrains.

Referred to as mini-eSUV, this car has dimensions of length of 3,213 mm, width of 1,678 mm, and height of 1,620 mm. VinFast stated that this dimension is quite proportional to urban mobility.

Although compact, the VF 3 interior can accommodate five people with a spacious interior space. The interior is equipped with a sophisticated 10-inch infotainment system that is integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Another interesting thing is that the car has a large load capacity to store a lot of new ones by folding the second row seat, the rear cargo space that can accommodate up to 550 liters.

Positioned as the cheapest electric vehicle in VinFast's ranks, VF 3 has a power that is not as large as an urban EV. Having a battery pack of 18.64 kWh lithium-iron phosphate, the car is able to provide a distance of up to 200 km according to NEDC calculations.

Meanwhile, this off-road-style car is given a single electric motorbike capable of providing 40 ps of power along with 110 Nm of torque.

Combined at affordable prices, low operating costs, and battery rental options, VF 3 is claimed to minimize expenses for its users compared to having a gasoline car.
