Mazda Presents MX-5 Special Edition, Only 24 Units Available

JAKARTA - The current generation of Mazda MX-5 will enter a decade, but the car is still one of the most popular roadsters in the global market.

To continue this trend, this Japanese manufacturer presents a special edition with a special color called MX-5 Geshi offered in a network of dealers in Belgium, namely Mazda St-Michel.

Launching from Carscoops, Monday, September 9, this car is the result of a collaboration between manufacturers with Gisele Racing based in Brussels, Belgium. The company has expertise in tuning and designing Mazda racing cars.

MX-5 Geshi offers a different style with accessories being offered in bespoke and redesigned chassis. This special edition is also a sign of respect for the 2.0 liter machine variant that it produces in Europe.

Naming the name Geshi is inspired by the summer turning point and will only be produced in a limited manner by 24 units. This refers to the 24 seasonal period of the Sekki, Japan's traditional solar calendar.

This special roadster offers green exclusive painting such as the classic British Racing Green color. The exterior is decorated with white, black, and yellow stripes decorated with yellow caliber brakes covered with black BBS rims.

The livery feature is combined with a sandy canvas roof and interior covered in beige colors. This package includes a GMT cap, a vintage driving gloves, and a special key hanger.

Gisele Racing also increases the chassis of the roadster so that it has more fun driving dynamics than the standard version.

The legs are equipped with Uniroyal tires, a shock absorber from Bilstein, a lower spring from Eibach, a strut bar, a sports exhaust from Basketuck, and an aerodynamic package developed by Mazda.

The bottom of the front hood is equipped with a Skyactiv-G 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine powered by 181 dk and 205 Nm torque. According to the dealer, it is likely that this unit will be the last MX-5 in Belgium to offer the machine.
