JAKARTA - Japan's auto brand, Nissan has officially introduced the latest generation of full-size Patrol SUVs for the Middle East market with a number of significant changes from previous models.

Nissan Motor President and CEO Makoto Uchida said the latest patrol is one of the brand's commitments to empowering its global business plan, called The Arc and claiming this model is the most advanced in the history of the series.

"The seventh Generation is a bold leap forward, combining unmatched performance, cutting-edge technology, and a strong presence to redefine what is meant by SUV," Uchida said on Nissan's official website, Wednesday, September 4.

In terms of design, the latest Patrol maintains tough lines typical of full-size SUVs. In addition, the front is decorated by a Grill V-Motion that has become the hallmark of Nissan with a wider and more authoritative look.

Then, the back seat is also equipped with a 12.8-inch double screen to provide entertainment for other vehicle users when traveling long distances via Miracast, HDMI, or USB.

The features available in the large SUV with standard panoramic sunsets, the first and second row seats are equipped with back support bone technology inspired by NASA, as well as 64-color ambient lighting.

Just like other Nissan models, Patrol is also equipped with ProPilot technology which includes adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance systems.

To support tough performance, this model is armed with a 3.5 liter V6 twin-turbo engine that can emit 425 dk of power and 700 Nm of torque, an increase of 7 percent compared to existing V8 machines in the previous generation.

The manufacturer from the country of sunrise also provides a 3.8 liter naturally assisted V6 engine which has 316 dk of power and 386 Nm of torque.
