Zeekr 7X Will Enliven The Electric Car Segment In Europe In 2025, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - The premium car brand under the auspices of Geely from China, Zeekr is preparing to expand its presence on the global market, especially Europe by launching the Zeekr 7X electric SUV in early 2025. This ambitious move marks Zeekr's major expansion into Europe, following its debut in China's local market.

Quoting from InsideEVs, Tuesday, September 3, Zeekr plans to start Zeekr 7X exports to various countries starting next year. The model, which was just due to be launched in China this month, was built on the 800-volt SEA platform, just like many other products from Geely's group. This platform offers the reach, performance, and advanced technologies that are Zeekr's mainstay.

The Zeekr 7X comes with a length dimension of 4,825 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of 2,925 mm, giving a dashing and modern impression. Its exterior design carries the concept of "Hidden Energy," with unique features like Zeekr Stargate, an interactive LCD screen on the front that can display messages and images. The back light of the through-type model adds to the futuristic impression on this car.

Entering the cabin, Zeekr 7X offers a luxurious experience with a large infotainment screen integrated into the dashboard, supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295. Steering with a triple bar design adds an elegant touch in the cabin. The car is designed for family comfort, with a configuration of five seats and 32 practical storage compartments. A 616 liter bagaging provides sufficient space for various travel needs.

In terms of performance, Zeekr 7X is available in two variants: single motor and double motorcycle. The single motor variant is equipped with a silicon carbide electric motor with a strength of 310 kW placed on the rear wheel. Meanwhile, the double motor variant adds an electric motor of 165 kW in the front ascent, allowing acceleration of 0-100 km/hour in just 3.8 seconds.

Both variants also offer a choice of 75 kWh and 100 kWh batteries that use Golden Brick batteries, developed and produced internally by Geely's subsidiaries. With this battery, Zeekr 7X is able to cover a distance of up to 605 km based on CLTC calculations.

With all its features and performance, Zeekr 7X is ready to become a strong competitor in the global electric SUV market, especially in Europe, when it launches in 2025.
