VW Opens Ordering ID.3 GTX In Europe, Price Touches IDR 800 Million Including Incentives

JAKARTA - Volkswagen introduced the ID.3 GTX as one of the high-performance electric vehicles last March. Now, this German manufacturer is opening the booking period for the sporty hatchback.

Reporting from the brand's official website, Friday, August 9, this car is available at prices ranging from 52,295 euros or equivalent to Rp908.6 million. With the implementation of the incentive scheme in Germany, it was reduced by 3,570 euros (Rp62 million) to 48,075 euros (Rp835.3 million).

The new ID.3 GTX features a unique exterior design, including the characteristics of the headlights and back, details of the sporty design in the interior, as well as a powerful driving performance. This is the most sporting model of a fully electric ID family.

This model is Volkswagen's first breakthrough in an all-electric hot hatch segment equipped with an impressive rear wheel drive (RWD).

"With its spontaneous and superior power distribution, the new ID.3 GTX Performance for me is an electric counterpart to our sporty compact car icon, Golf GTI Clubsport," said Volkswagen Brand Board of Management Volkswagen AG Kai Grunitz.

There are two available power options; the standard model produces 286 cellphones, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds. While the Performance variant, with the same motor technology but increased to 326 hp, shortened the time to 5.6 seconds. Both are equipped with the same torque up to 545 Nm.

The manufacturer gave this model a 79 kWh lithium-ion battery pack to support its wild performance. This can make the car run up to 601 km according to WLTP calculations. The battery is compatible with an 185 kW DC fast-charging charger that can fill in from 10 to 80 percent in 26 minutes.

The ID.3 GTX and ID.3 GTX Performance have a number of touch sports, starting from the special front bumper of this variant equipped with a new air-intake with a distinctive lamp shape.

This hatcback has a 20-inch Skagen GTX rim available in black as optional. Not only interesting on the outside and performance, the inside also has a number of amazing elements.

For ID.3 GTX Performance comes with the latest generation software and infotainment system with a 12.9-inch screen that has an IDA voice assistant complete with ChatGPT and a more intuitive operating concept.

This variant is also equipped with an improved driver and safety assistance system, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Automous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping System, Dynamic Road Sign Display, and others.
