Pininfarina Releases B95 Gotham, Hypercars For Batman's Limited Dreams

JAKARTA The luxury electric car manufacturer Automobile Pininfarina surprised the automotive world by announcing exclusive collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) created a limited dream hypercar line inspired by superhero Batman.

The collaboration between Automobile Pininfarina and WBDGCP is also a celebration of the 85th anniversary of Batman in 2024.

"B95 Gotham is an example of how we made our brand promise 'Impred Car, Made Real' for our clients. We put them as high as possible to bring special handmade cars like this driven by our vision and commitment to design an unforgettable client experience," said Chief Design Officer at Automobile Pininfarina Dave Amantea, in a manufacturer release, August 9.

The two-seater car without a roof will be one of the two vehicles exhibited by the Italian ultra-luxury automaker at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering at Monterey Car Week 2024, August 16.

Gotham's B95 is based on the B95 barchetta which uses the same platform as the Battista coupe reflects Wayne's passion for cutting-edge innovations, sustainable technology, Goods and subtleties.

In accordance with Bruce Wayne's character, known as a flamboyant billionaire, B95 Gotham appears with a combination of luxurious silver and chocolate colors. However, this car still carries a high performance typical of Pininfarina, with four electric motors producing up to 1,900 stances. Acceleration of 0-100 km/hour in less than two seconds.

As part of this collaboration, Pininfarina will also release three other limited models, including the Wayne-themed Battista variant and the Batman version of the two models. Each car is a single edition aimed at exclusive collectors.

While launching Road & Track, the standard B95 base price reached 4.8 million US dollars (equivalent to IDR 76.6 billion), it is certain that Gotham's B95 will be priced at a much higher price, in line with the exclusivity and luxury offered.
