Sub-brand Chery 'Jaecko' Appears Prime At GIIAS, Model J7 Launching?

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia stated that it will bring two new models, one is a flagship variant from Tiggo and the other is a model specifically formulated for the Indonesian market in the form of a 7-seater SUV at the GIIAS 2024 event.

This was revealed by the Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan. He revealed that at this year's GIIAS event there will be a lot of surprises from Chery.

"Our checking in New Era prioritizes future cars. So Chery provides opportunities and experience for customers to be able to feel Chery's future cars," he told the media crew, at the launch of Tiggo 5X.

Furthermore, he said, later Chery at GIIAS will split the booth. So there is a Chery brand and we will launch this new brand one of the surprises we will give in the 2024 giias.

"We will present a new line-up, namely Jaecool and we will bring a new line-up from Jaecool as a promotion. Apart from the display we will provide 12 test drive units, both from the Tiggo youth and also Jaecoo," he added.

The Jaecool J7 model is one of the great opportunities to attend. Not without reason, because the model has been caught on camera several times while testing the road.

The VOI team also saw the Jaecool J7 unit during the test drive of the Tiggo 5X unit a few months ago. The car looks parked even though the logo is covered, it is clear that the model is Jaecoo J7.

In specifications, the 4.500 mm long-dimensional Jaecool J7, 1,865 mm wide, 1,680 mm high, and 2.672 mm wheelbase. By design, it looks very stiff and mature.

Regarding the heart of the runway, Jaecool J7 has a four-cylinder turbo ACTECO SQRF4J16 engine with a capacity of 1,598 cc which produces 197 dk of power and a peak torque of 290 Nm.
