Porsche Will Bring 911 GT3 Hospitals To GIIAS 2024, What Are The Specifications?

JAKARTA - The 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) will start next month. One of the most anticipated contestants is Porsche, which will show off a number of exotic sports cars. This year it became more special, the German manufacturer celebrated its existence in the Indonesian market for 20 years.

"This year Porsche will return to GIIAS with the theme '20 years we are in Indonesia'," said PR Associate Manager of Porsche Indonesia, Valencia Maximilian, in Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 13.

Porsche does not want to miss this momentum and will carry several flagship models, including the 911 GT3 Hospital as a high-performance model from the 911 series, as well as Cayenne. In addition, they will also launch the two latest models.

"Later on at GIIAS, in addition to the EV line-up, we will present 911 GT3 RS and Cayenne, as well as introduce two new models at the hall 7C location," Valencia added.

However, regarding the new factory car based in Stuttgart, Germany does not want to reveal what model will be launched. The launch itself will take place on the day GIIAS 2024 media, July 17, 2024, at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS carries a style that not only resembles racing cars, but also has extraordinary performance. Like the other 911 model, this car is equipped with a 4.0 liter V8 naturally-assisted engine capable of producing 525 PS of power. With this force, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.2 seconds and reaches the highest speed of up to 296 km/hour.

One of the newest features in the 911 GT3 RS is a system that resembles DRS. When the driver presses one of the buttons in the steering circle, the rear wing will open. However, the maximum speed of 911 GT3 RS, which is 296 km/hour, is lower than the standard GT3 which reaches 320 km/hour.

Meanwhile, the latest Porsche Cayenne made its debut at GIIAS last year with a number of significant changes. This SUV has a 3.0 liter V6 turbo engine capable of generating up to 353 dk of power and a 500 Nm torque. For the highest variant, Cayenne S, there is a 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine with a power of up to 474 dk and 600 Nm of torque.
