VinFast VF 3 Cheap Electric Car Confirmed Will Be Present In The Philippines, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - The Vietnamese car brand, VinFast, is officially present in the Philippine market with four models at once, including VFe34, VF5, VF7, and VF9.

However, this model from Vietnam also confirmed that it would bring a cheap car from VinFast, VF3, which first appeared at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year.

Based on the Top Gear PH report, quoted on Thursday, June 6, there are no details on the specifications for the car with this unique and stunning design display. However, it is certain that it will take the floor to enliven the local market.

In specifications, citing from the CarBuzz page, this one comes with a length dimension of 3,213 mm, a width of 1,678 mm, and a height of 1,620 mm. VinFast stated that this dimension is quite proportional to urban mobility.

In an exterior design, this environmentally friendly car is equipped with a square-shaped front light, and there is a V logo located on the front bumper. It looks very unique that makes it a characteristic of this Vietnamese car.

Entering the cabin, VF 3 displays a minimalist impression to maximize space for five passengers in the vehicle. Intelligent basic features are fully integrated, ensuring a user experience that is comfortable and optimal.

In detail, the interior is equipped with a 10-inch state-of-the-art infotainment system that is integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. VinFast VF 3 also has a large payload capacity to store lots of items. By folding the second row seat, the rear cargo space can accommodate up to 550 liters.

VF 3 is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 18.64 kWh, this car only has a distance capacity of up to 209 km based on standards from NEDC. In addition, this small SUV is capable of charging from 10 to 70 percent in 36 minutes. And equipped with an electric motor that can pump up to 43 dk of power and 109 Nm of torque is channeled to the rear wheels. According to VinFast, VF 3 can run from 0 to 50 km/hour in just 5.3 seconds.

Regarding the price, it is estimated that it will be priced cheaply at IDR 203.2 million and IDR 151.5 million for the batteryless version. In addition, the manufacturer also offers battery subscription packages with three levels that have varying costs depending on monthly travel distance.

VinFast himself has been present in Indonesia with various models. Of course, it is possible that this one model will also greet the country's market.
