DFSK Glora E And Seres E1 Enliven The 2024 PEVS Exhibition

JAKARTA - PT Sokoindo Automobile has again participated in the 2024 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) exhibition, carrying the Seres E1 and Gelora E electric cars.

CEO of PT Sokoindo Automobile Alexander Barus in his speech said that the two models brought to this exhibition were the company's strategic steps to focus on working on the Indonesian automotive market.

"The two segments in question are battery-based commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles, which will indeed develop rapidly in the future," said Alex, Tuesday, April 30, in Kemayoran.

Met at the same event, PT Sokoindo Automobile's Head of Marketing & Sales, Doni Putra Okten, added that currently PT Sokoindo Automobile has two categories of electric vehicles offered.

"DFSK is a brand that offers commercial electric vehicles including BEV-based ones and SERES is a brand specifically designated for BEV-based passenger vehicles. With an approach like this we hope to provide better service to customers," said Doni.

On this occasion, PT Sokoindo Automobile also signed an MOU as a form of collaboration with PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari and PT Kalista Soter Hastia.

PT Anugerah Pharmindo President Director, Lestari Christophe Piganiol, said the signing of the MoU marks a major step for the two companies in pursuing sustainable innovation, and shows the company's commitment to supporting government policies in reducing carbon emissions in daily operations as a service provider company in the leading health sector in Indonesia, especially for the distribution unit business.

"We believe that this collaboration will not only bring significant environmental benefits but also added value to all parties," said Lestari.

As additional information, the Seres E1 electric car comes in two variants, namely E1 B-Type which is marketed at a price of Rp. 189 million and E1 L-Type which is priced at Rp. 219 million (on-the-road Jakarta). At this price, the Sere E1 is currently the most competitive electric car compared to competitors in the same class.

Meanwhile, DFSK Gelora E as the first light commercial electric vehicle in Indonesia, offers an energy efficient mobility solution because it uses 100 percent of electrical energy. Vehicles with a choice of van camper models, blind vans and minibuses are ready to optimize various business sectors ranging from transportation, tourism, logistics, catering, and other businesses with environmentally friendly approaches.
