After Launching CLE 53, Mercedes-AMG Will Offer CLE 63 S E Performance With Greater Power

JAKARTA Mercedes-AMG is reportedly preparing the highest variant of the CLE model. This model named CLE 63 is seen walking with some bodies wrapped in camouflage stickers with a more aggressive design than CLE 53.

Different from the previous spy camera catch showing the charging port at the back proves that this is a PHEV vehicle, now the car is visible again but without being equipped with the device.

Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, April 18, the sedan is known to have a exhaust system of four square-shaped exhausts. Thus, the car will have a much larger power than other CLE brothers.

Furthermore, this sporty-style sedan has aggressive front facilities with open grip and intake that play a role in accepting air flow. It is also supported by front-level ventilation, large rear spoilers, and light rims that cover the high performance braking system.

It is estimated that the CLE 63 model will be offered in two different powertrains. This follows the SL model available in variants 63 and 63 S E Performance.

It is possible that the sedan will have the same performance as C 63 S E Performance, namely with a strength of 671 dk and a torque of 1,018 Nm from an engine of 2.0 liters of fresh 4-cylinder

However, because CLE 53 carries a fresh 6-cylinder engine, there is speculation that CLE 63 S E Performance will use the same machine as E 63 S Performance with a power of more than 700 dk.

As a comparison, AMG CLE 53 uses a 6-cylinder engine with an M256M 3.0 liter turbocharged which produces 443 dk of power and 600 Nm of torque combined with a 48V mid-hybrid system.

The machine is united with AMG SpeedShift TCT 9G transmission and AMG Performance 4 Matic + all-wheel drive, resulting in the highest speed of up to 270 km/hour.

With the AMG Dynamic Select system, users can choose driving modes consisting of Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual, according to their wishes. The differentiation ranges from efficient and comfortable to very sporty.
