Second Generation Chevrolet Trailblazer Receives Second Facelift, Here's The Change

JAKARTA - Chevrolet has just released a facelift from the second generation Trailblazer to be offered in the Brazilian market. This is the second facelift after being first introduced in 2016.

For Brazilian market spectra, manufacturers are changing various aspects of this SUV, such as visuals adopting modern design languages from Chevrolet, interior, and new chassis just like Colorado.

Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, April 18, this SUV has a change in the front bumper, grip, headlights, and engine hood. However, the side profile and overall bodywork do not look like they have changed.

The brand, which is under the auspices of General Motors (GM), has also added the latest trim to the Trailblazer, namely High Country, offering full chromic accents and standard equipment.

Interior is also experiencing an overhaul with a fresher dashboard design and the embedding of the latest car technology. There is an 8-inch digital instrument cluster combined with a larger 11-inch infotainment touch screen.

In addition, a more modern switchgear and wireless charging pad is also presented on the center console section. At the trim High Country, a new seat is covered with bi-tone skin with a special embroider on the back of the head.

In terms of performance, Chevrolet maintains a 2.8 liter Duramax turbodiesel 4-cylinder engine which is upgraded so that it gets 204 dk of power and 510 Nm of torque. This force is channeled to a four-wheel drive combined with the latest eight automatic acceleration transmissions.

This car is also supported by enhanced suspensions and steering columns to accommodate smoother motorization coupled with the latest set of tires.

Chevrolet Trailblazer will be produced in samba, at the Sao Jose dos Campos General Motors facility to be exact. Prices will be announced approaching the market launch and are expected to arrive at dealers in May.
