Toyota Adds Corolla Variant With Sporty Display In Japan, This Is The Price

Toyota has just added the latest variant of Active Sport to the ranks of Corolla sold in Japan. This car offers a sporty look with better suspension tuning.

According to a Carscoops report, Wednesday, April 3, the car is available in sedans and estate. These two models differ from smaller trims thanks to a redesigned front bumper with fake ventilation on the large mid-intake side, imitating the GR Yaris facelift.

This latest type of corolla also features sideskirt with an Active Sport' emblem, black piano accent around the bodywork, and the latest 17-inch rim black. The exterior is decorated with white, black, and gray palettes, combined with a black roof.

Overall, the touch presented makes this compact model look more sporty than the standard, without imitating the high-performance hot hatch model of the wide-body GR Corolla.

In the cabin, the Japanese manufacturer offers a pair of sports seats on the front connected with a head back. The seat layer is coated with synthetic skin and Blancnove with gray stitches and aluminum-style insertions. The material also coats the dashboard and is presented with aluminum pedals on branded floor mats as optional.

In addition, Toyota also offers this model with an increase in the tuning of new suspensions and the optimized steering so that drivers feel exciting control when driving them.

Despite having a sporty look, this trim has a powertrain similar to other versions, namely a 1.8 liter hybrid engine combined with two wheels (2WD) and an all-wheel drive (AWD).

Toyota has opened an ordering period for this model at prices ranging from 3.140 million yen to 3.388 million yen (around Rp330.3 million to Rp356.3 million).
