JAKARTA - BYD, an auto giant from China, has launched one of the utility electric cars at affordable prices.
It was reported that this car was priced from 96,800 yuan to 119,800 yuan (equivalent to Rp210 million to Rp263 million). Thus, this makes it one of the cheapest EVs the company has ever presented.

Reporting from the CarNewsChina page, Saturday, March 30, since its launch a few days ago, the manufacturer has pocketed around 20,000 orders for the model.
This car has a compact design with a length dimension of 4,310 mm, a width of 1,830 mm, a height of 1,675 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.
Built on an all-electric e-Platform 3.0 from BYD, this one car is powered by permanent magnetic sync motors across the range, and the cheapest version of Yuan UP is equipped with a 32 kWh battery with a range of 301 km CLTC, while the 70 kW and 180 Nm peak torques and 0-100 km/hour acceleration take 12 seconds.
In addition, two other versions have a 130 kW engine that is more powerful with a 290 Nm peak torque, so it can go up to 100 km/hour in 7.9 seconds and is equipped with a 45 kWh battery that can reach 401 km.
