Continue To Present New Innovations, Wuling Wins Awards In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors (Wuling) received appreciation for the innovation in the Indonesian automotive industry. Wuling won The Most Innovative Automaker for Electric Vehicle Innovation at the Indonesia Digital Innovation Awards 2024 which was held at Le Meridien Hotel, Central Jakarta.

At an event with the theme Creating New Business Design with Resource Exploration, one of the media in Indonesia gave Wuling an award for his innovative steps in presenting electric vehicle lines with various innovations in the country.

"This achievement is certainly a motivation for us to continue to present various innovative electric vehicle products and according to the mobility needs of the Indonesian people and for a greener future in line with the spirit of 'Drive For A Green Life'," said Wuling Motors Public Relations Manager Brian Gomgom, in his statement, Friday, March 29, 2024.

In determining the winner of the award, the researcher concerned used a desk research and media monitoring approach.

As is known, before seven years of his work in Indonesia, Wuling has become one of the leading electric vehicle brands in the country.

Wuling's move in the EV segment is based on the spirit of Drive For A Green Life which starts with the Global Launch Air EV in August 2022.

Wuling's first EV in Indonesia is a compact city car that is simple, smart, and efficient with a distance of 200 km to 300 km and is now the best-selling electric vehicle in the country.

Then, Wuling continued his steps through the launch of the BinguoEV in December 2023. BinguoEV, Drive Electric, Be The Icon, Wuling's second electric vehicle in the EV hatchback segment combines iconic exterior designs with timeless visuals and a distance of 333 km to 410 km.

Furthermore, Wuling continues to be committed to responding to the increasingly diverse needs of electric vehicles. This was realized by the first appearance of Cloud EV at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.

The Cloud EV appears with a subtle curve on the exterior, larger dimensions, and offers the convenience of driving in elegant styling.
