JAKARTA - Kia has expanded its electrification trend by introducing Sportage HEV to the Australian market, offering a wide selection of powertrains in its class.

Sportage HEV is offered in two trims, namely SX FWD Auto and GT-Line FWD Auto. The SX FWD Auto variant offers a number of standard equipment, including 18-inch rims, 12.3-inch infotainment display, analog-digital instrument cluster, double zone temperature controller, cloth seat, and seat that can be adjusted 6-way.

Meanwhile, the GT-Line FWD Auto variant gets additional features, such as a 12.3-inch curved screen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge on the dashboard, panoramic sunset, electrochromic rearview mirror, smart key with push-button start, front and rear parking sensors, 8-way driver seats, and blind-spot monitoring.

In terms of performance, this car is powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline measuring 177 dk and a 265 Nm torque, combined with an electric motor of 59 dk and a torque of 264 Nm. This combination produces a combined power of 227 dk and a torque of 350 Nm.

The power is channeled through the transmission of six accelerations to the front wheels. Thanks to the contribution of electric motors, Sportage HEV has fuel efficiency of up to 4.9 l/100 km.

Regarding prices, Sportage HEV is offered from 45,950 Australian dollars to 55,420 Australian dollars, or around Rp473.8 million to Rp571.5 million.
