BMW IX XDrive50 Sport Officially Listed On Malaysia At A More Affordable Price

JAKARTA - BMW iX xDrive 50 Sport has been officially launched in the country, precisely at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024. After Indonesia, the electric car also marked its debut in the Malaysian market.

Just like what is marketed in Indonesia, BMW iX xDrive50 Sport which is sold in neighboring countries has an electric motor that can power up to 523 dk, so it can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 4.6 seconds.

Meanwhile, the battery from this SUV offers a battery with a capacity of more than 100 kWh, resulting in an impressive distance of up to 630 km in the WLTP cycle. This electric vehicle can charge from 10-80 percent in less than 40 minutes with a fast charger.

Present in the luxury electric vehicle segment, BMW iX xDrive50 Sport is priced at 499,000 ringgit or equivalent to IDR 1.6 billion, including insurance packages and guarantees, but does not include other personalization options.

Thus, this price is cheaper than what is sold in Indonesia, reaching IDR 2.6 billion of The Road DKI Jakarta.
