Reported by CarBuzz, March 1, the concept introduced in 2023 was originally to celebrate Mitsuoka's 55th birthday and M55 Concept is basically a drastically changed Honda Civic. The front and back were redesigned to resemble the classic Dodge Challenger.

According to Mitsuoka, they received a lot of positive support for the M55 Concept.

"We received direct responses from many people, young and old, men and women," the company released, showing high enthusiasm for the car.

M55 is scheduled to launch in 2025, but Mitsuoka hints that the availability of M55 will be limited as they have received more than 1,300 orders from this model.

"We may not be able to meet the demands of everyone who wants to buy it," wrote Mitsuoka's official statement.

Most likely, M55 will be priced at a higher price than the usual Honda Civic.

The engine remains using the standard Civic engine, which is 1.5 liters of turbocharged which produces 180 horsepower and 240 Nm torque power, combined with 6-speed manual transmission and front wheels driving.

The design of the M55 combines Japanese and American styles. At first glance, it reminds Dodge Challenger of the 1970s, but overall, it resembles Japanese sports cars from the same era. The back, especially rear lights and window windows, is more like Mazda RX-3 or Mitsubishi Lancer Celeste.

For interior, Mitsuoka maintains a modern feel with a change in the form of a bright blue leather seat and Mitsuoka emblem on the steering wheel.
