Expanding The Electrification Line, Hyundai Offers Hybrid Staria For The South Korean Market

Hyundai has just launched the Staria Hybrid, expanding the segment of the electrification vehicles they have been digging in recent years.

Hyundai has also announced it has started pre-ordering for the 2024 Staria Hybrid model since February 28.

This premium-style hybrid van, recently introduced to the South Korean market, complements the popular turbodiesel engine options. But Hyundai claims its fuel efficiency is very efficient 7.7L/100 km, much better than the current 8.2L/100 km of the 2.2 liter turbo-diesel.

In Indonesia, Hyundai has only marketed this model with two variants, namely Signature 9 and Signature 7 which have a 2.2 liter turbodiesel engine.

For the country's market, Hyundai Staria is priced at starting at IDR 924 million for Signature 9 and IDR 1.060 billion for the Signature 7 type. Thus, this car is the ideal competitor for other premium vans, such as Toyota Alphard.
