JAKARTA - Earlier this year Hyundai officially launched the facelift version of Creta for the Indian market. But the company intends to present more variations of this model for the foreseeable future, one of which is the Creta EV.
This electric-driven version is being developed by the company and is expected to launch by the end of this year. The latest camera capture shows the Creta EV carrying the base of the facelift version that has been launched.
Reporting from RushLane, Monday, February 5, it has a design language similar to that of the Creta facelift with a quad-beam LED headlights, DRL LED horizons, sein LED lights on the front and back, as well as interconnected LED lighting.
Because this car is an electric vehicle, the model has changed with a closed gripper display. The front and rear bumpers are slightly changed, in line with the foundation of the SUV.
Several special EV branding elements are likely to be on the front, side and rear. Furthermore, Creta EV will also have a new set of rims with the same aero insertion as the Nexon EV facelift.
Not only is it just a visual refresher, the rim has an aerodynamic function that helps stabilize the vehicle. It is estimated that the Creta EV will be offered in 17 inches or 18 inches.
The interior will be decorated with several standard features, such as an infotainment display and an interconnected instrument cluster, a ventilated chair at the front, a state-of-the-art panoramic sunset, an 8-way driver seat, and a premium Bose audio system.
