JAKARTA - Kia, an automotive brand from South Korea, officially launched the latest variant of the diesel-engined Seltos model with a manual transmission for the Indian market. This product is included in the lineup of models that have received a facelift.

In terms of appearance, the compact-sized SUV has no difference with the other facelift Sellos variants. Kia only gave the model with a bolder look with agrill that was confirmed to be supported by the latest LED lighting. The front bumper also shows toughness with fog lights positioned vertically.

Reporting from Autocar India, Friday, January 19, Kia Seltos is currently offering several standard features such as the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package, six airbags, 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, head-up display, two 10.25-inch screens, and an eight-speaker audio system from Bose.

The diesel-manual version of Kia Seltos also has the same engine as other types, namely 1.5 liters of 4-cylinder which produces 116 dk of power, which is integrated with six accelerations of manual transmission.

In India, this diesel-manual-engined model is offered with five different variants, namely HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+, with prices ranging from 1.2 million rupees or around IDR 225.4 million to the highest reaching 1.828 million rupees or equivalent to IDR 343.5 million.

Seltos is one of the best-selling products in the Indian market. Since the facelift version was launched in July 2023, the South Korean brand managed to sell more than 65,000 units. For the diesel-manual version of the machine, the order has been opened and will be delivered next month.
