Chery Indonesia kicked off the automotive market in the electric car segment by presenting Omoda E5, which will be launched in early February 2024.

This locally assembled car offers a luxurious impression on its exterior, looks futuristic and sporty. It can be seen from the firm line pinned to the front and back making it look dashing too.

Of course not a few are curious about the complete specifications. So what's it like?

Exterior design

The design of the localized E5 Omoda E5 is very modern, which comes with the dimensions of this car with a length of 4,424 mm, a width of 1,830 mm, and a height of 1,588 mm. Meanwhile, the wheelbase or wheelbase distance is 2,630 mm. This car is also embedded with an 18-inch rim with a dual tone color and a sporty design. The front hood is embedded with the Omoda logo which adds to the modern impression.

Interior

Entering the cabin, there is an electrical setting for the driver's seat and the front passenger. Many interesting features are pinned, such as three driving mode options arranged through the center console (eco, sport, and normal). security features ranging from the ABS system (Anti-lock Braking System), 4-door window anti-pinch system, safety belts with potential and load limiters, as well as child safety door locks.

As a contemporary electric car, Omoda E5 is also equipped with various qualified security features. Battery

Chery Omoda E5 uses Synchronous Magnet Permanent and is equipped with a capacity of 61.06 kWh. The battery is claimed to be able to cover a distance of 430 km in testing (WLTP). While the electric motor is equipped with 204 horsepower and 340 Nm torque.

Speaking of battery charging, you can charge a 150 kW Max DC charging power with fast charging. The company claims to be able to charge from 30-80 percent in just 28 minutes.
