Kia Sonet Facelift Officially Listed In India, Sent From Mid-January 2024

JAKARTA - After making its global debut in December, Kia officially launched Sonet facelift at prices ranging from 799,000 to 1,569,000 rupees or around Rp150 million to Rp294 million for the Indian market.

Quoting from the Autocar India website, Saturday, January 13, Kia India will start shipping the car which is scheduled for mid-January 2024, meaning that soon the car will arrive to consumers.

As is known, when his first debut was Kia, he made a slight change in cosmetics and added features to Sonet to help him in the busy compact SUV segment.

Exterior

In the exterior, major changes occur in lighting elements, where the facelift is equipped with a new front LED light, and is surrounded by a new LED DRL lamp.

Meanwhile on the back, Sonet Facelift gets two C-shaped back lights connected to LED light bars. This compact SUV gets a new front and back bumper, as well as a spoiler mounted on the roof.

Interior

Entering the cabin, the only change is the cluster of digital instruments which is now standard equipment, in line with the latest Seltos. Where this facelift is equipped with a cluster of 10.25 inches of digital instruments.

This compact SUV is also equipped with a 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment unit, and below the screen there is a control panel for temperature control, driving mode, and traction control.

Features

Talking about the car safety feature, this one is equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) level 1 with 10 features in it. Not only that, to add safety aspects, there are six airbags, hill-start assists, tire pressure monitoring systems, and ESC is standard equipment in all variants.

The highest variant is embedded with a 360-degree camera, colded front seat, imitation leather seat, Bose audio system, sunrooft, and more.

Machine

Sonet's kine facelift Sonet engine retains previous options, including the G1.2L 4-cylinder gasoline option with a magnitude of 80 dk and a torque of 115 Nm with a manual transmission of five accelerations.

In addition, there is also a turbo gasoline option with a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder GDI measuring 116 dk and a 172 Nm torque with a choice of transmission of six manual accelerations and dual-clutch seven accelerations. The last diesel option is a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine with 112 dk of power and a 250 Nm torque.
