The Most Popular Model From Skolda Auto Can Be Updated, Launched February 2024

JAKARTA - Octavia is the most popular model of the Skolda manufacturer where about 40 percent of all cars produced by this Czech producer are Octavia. This is not surprising, if you look at the sales data from January-September 2023 alone, Octavia sold 140 thousand units globally or occupies the top position of the Skolda model.

Skida has just announced that Octavia facelift will make its global debut in February 2024, in a new teaser shared on its official Instagram page.

Launching from the Autocar India website, Wednesday, January 3, this time the facelift arrived about five years after the fourth generation Octavia was launched for the international market, and it is estimated that there will be design changes on the outside and some updates on the inside.

Although the teaser only provides a glimpse of the front, aka the whole thing is still closed, one aspect that is clearly visible is the new design on the front light.

In the short video, a cluster of headlights can be seen coming with a diagonal DRL LED, which stretches to a redesigned culling, with the logo in the middle between the two lights.

This confirms several pictures that Octavia facelift was caught on camera. Where, the image spy shot contains that Octavia gets a new front and back bumper, a new rim design, and a new rear light cluster.

Again, the teaser did not reveal any details about Octavia's updated cabin, but it is hoped that new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment will be available, along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay's wireless compatibility as well as a 10-inch driver's screen.

Speaking of engines, Octavia is likely to borrow a 1.0 liter turbocharged three cylinders, 114 updated toilets from Kamiq. As well as a 1.5 liter cylinder four engine that produces 148 hp of power, and is also expected to come with a 2.0 liter diesel engine that produces up to 200 hp of power. AWD technology is also expected to be in a higher variant.
