Let's Get To Know The 4X Bozhi Electric SUV

JAKARTA - Bozhi sub-branded a new energy vehicle under the GAC-Toyota joint venture in China, officially launched Bozhi 4X at the Guangzhou Auto Show last November 23, and has now started attending various dealer networks.

Quoted from the Carnewschina page, Sunday, December 24, Bozhi 4X is an upgraded version of the previously released Toyota bZ4X model. This electric SUV model is priced from 179,800 yuan (IDR 392 million) to 238,800 yuan (IDR 520 million).

Posited as a medium-sized SUV, the electric car was built on the e-TNGA platform (Toyota New Global Architecture), with a length dimension of 4,690 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, a height of 1,650 mm with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm.

The design is presented like a modern car that looks compact and elegant, and is equipped with several all-black pillars, such as the roof, to the rearview mirror. In addition, the charging port is on the right front.

Meanwhile, in the cabin, Bozhi 4X carries the concept of Toyota Space equipped with a 7-inch instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a three-stop oval-shaped multifunctional steering wheel, and a large number of physical buttons, as well as interiors available in three colors, namely black, gray, and red.

Various interesting features are also embedded, such as the T-PILOT level 2 advanced driving assistance system, Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife, Huawei HiCar, and rear AC. Meanwhile, the higher version is equipped with JBL speakers for audio systems, to wireless charging.

The entire series is equipped with a lithium ternary 66.7 kWh battery. In fast charging, it takes about 30 minutes to recharge the battery from 30 to 80 percent.

Bozhi 4X has two versions with different driving systems, the front wheel drive using a 150 kW motor capable of reaching a top speed of 160 km/hour, while the four-wheel drive model uses two 80 kW motors. Both versions have very fast acceleration and laudable cruising power, where the highest version can reach a range of 615 km, based on CLTC calculations.
