Fiat Releases Second Generation Fiat 500e In The US, But These Two Competitors Are Ready To Face

JAKARTA - FIAT will auction off three special Fiat 500e electric cars at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, the auction results will be donated to environmentalists' foundations.

Reported by the company's release, December 5, these three special order vehicles are designed to cooperate with Italy's iconic brands Armani, Bvlgari, and Cartel and will be auctioned off this December 7 at an undisclosed location.

Previously, Fiat had announced that the second generation of 500e electric cars would soon arrive at car dealers in the United States by 2024.

The official specifications of this compact hatchback have been released, reported by The Verge, December 5, the price per unit is 34,095 US dollars or around Rp529 million (increased in shipping costs), a battery range of 240 km and power of 117 dk.

Fiat says the new 500e is more stylish, fun to drive, well, from the appearance, Fiat 500e is adorable, with a cool Italian retro and unique interior style plus a small size that makes it agile in traffic.

However, if you look at all the specifications, you could say they are still losing when compared to some of their competitors who will enter the US market which is also offered at a more affordable price.

Now for the toughest competitors coming from Volvo EX30 who are also coming to the US market soon. Although the price is almost the same, the power is greater at 268 and the battery range is also 442 km and obviously the interior space is slightly larger because this car is a small compact SUV.

Apart from Volvo EX30, there is also a Mini Cooper EV 2025 while maintaining a pleasant retro view and a unique interior. But Mini hasn't released a price for Cooper EV 2025 in the US yet, but the first generation electric Mini model is priced at 31,895 US dollars cheaper than the new Fiat 500e.
