JAKARTA - Further information about the Toyota IMV 0 or the Rangga Concept emerged ahead of its launch in the ASEAN market in 2024 or 2025. It is known that this model will get some configurations.

This car is not only targeting the Southeast Asian market, but will greet several countries in Asia. This is reinforced by Koji Satoo, CEO of Toyota, saying that the pickup will soon be launched for Asian territory in the near future.

Reporting from Paultan, Thursday, November 16, it said that the model was sold in Thailand under the Hilux Champ name and was positioned under Hilux as a versatile tough pickup vehicle.

However, IMV 0 is not a small-sized pickup. The model is 5.300 mm long, 1,785 mm wide, 1,740 mm high, and 3,085 m wheelbase. Thus, this car is slightly shorter 25 mm than Hilux, but 235-270 mm wider than the model of its brother. However, another interesting thing is that the two pickups have the same wheelbase, suggesting that these models use the same framework.

However, IMV 0 uses a single cabin configuration that is different from the Hilux which carries double-cabin. In maximizing utilities, Toyota has collaborated with upfiters to build a potential after-sales market.

Although the details of the internal power source are not stated, the pickup is estimated to use a 1TR-FE 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine as fresh as the Hilux which produces 139 dk of power and 185 Nm of torque combined with a manual transmission of five accelerations.

Furthermore, it is reported that the diesel option is also offered with a 2GD-FTV 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine as soon as turbodiesel produces 148 dk of power and 400 Nm of torque with four-wheel drive and rear wheels as optional.

Toyota IMV 0 or Rangga Concept, was exhibited in the country, precisely at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023 in August and Indonesia Modification and Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2023 at the end of last September.

At both events, the manufacturer showed off the pickup which was converted into a commercial vehicle such as 'Mobile Café' which is ready to provide coffee anywhere and anytime and in the form of a 'Face Car' that will guide the race on the track.
