Kia EV6 GT Recognized As Best Innovation By TIME Magazine

JAKARTA - In October last year, Kia introduced Kia EV6 GT, a high-performance car produced by a South Korean manufacturer. This car achievement was recognized by the 2023 'Best Inventions' award by TIME magazine.

This five-door SUV is recognized as the best innovation in the transportation category by the well-known US magazine. This list features 200 extraordinary innovations that TIME editors have chosen, including new products and ideas.

"Strengthening Kia America's momentum as the only automotive company in the US to be included in TIME100's Most Influential Company List in 2023, we are honored for this latest recognition for the most powerful Kia production vehicle ever," said Steven Center, COO Kia America, in an official statement from the company, Wednesday, October 25.

Previously, this car also won the 2023 World Performance Car award thanks to the maximum performance produced by a dual electric motor with a power of 577 dk and a torque of 740 Nm.

This impressive performance is supported by an all-wheel drive system that allows the car to reach speeds from 0 to 100 km/hour within 3.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of up to 260 km/hour.

While prominent in performance for electric cars, Kia remains focused on security by providing advanced features such as complete ADAS Drive Wise, including Forward Collision-avoidance Assist with Select Turning and Crossing, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot View Monitor, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Surround View Monitor, and Parking Distance Warning.

Kia EV6 GT is also equipped with a Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) which allows drivers to park their vehicles automatically even when the driver is outside the vehicle.

Not only that, Kia EV6 GT also functions as a resource for houses or other electric vehicles with Vehicle to Load (V2L) and Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) features.

With its advanced performance and features, Kia EV6 GT is sold in Indonesia at a price of IDR 1.699 billion On The Road DKI Jakarta and its surroundings.
