Lexus Introduces LF-ZC Concept, Electric Car With A Tempuh Distance Of 1,000 Kilometers

JAKARTA - Lexus hit the automotive market by launching a concept car called the LF-ZC, which was introduced at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show (JMS).

In fact, the electric vehicle is claimed to be able to cover a distance of 1,000 kilometers in one battery charge. Of course, this is an extraordinary number for electric cars, because currently several models have been launched from various manufacturers ranging from 500-800 kilometers.

Quoted from Reuters, Thursday, October 26, it is planned that this electric car will be launched in 2026, as part of the Japanese car manufacturer's strategic axis towards electric vehicles that depend on advanced battery technology.

The key to achieving this breakthrough is the overall minimization and reduction of components, including smaller, more efficient batteries with greater power and wider reach, said Lexus Chief Branding Officer Simon Humphries during a press conference.

In addition, Lexus also announced that it has reached a new breakthrough to tackle solid-state battery resilience. The company aims to sell solid-state battery powered vehicles that are considered game changers'' due to its reach and performance.

The LF-ZC electric car comes in a low sitting position and a wide cockpit. In addition, it is also equipped with advanced AI technology that can identify preferences that the driver may not notice.

The presence of an electric car with extraordinary distance is also a tangible manifestation of Lexus and the parent company Toyota to make all electric car models by 2035.
