Toyota To Sign Concept To JMS 2023 Performance In Japan

JAKARTA - It has been confirmed earlier that Toyota will participate in the Japan Mobility Show (JMS) 2023 which will take place on October 26-5 November 2023. Carrying the spirit of Let's Change the Future of Cars-Wind Your Future, is the company's commitment to providing more carbon-free vehicles.

After announcing several models, the Japanese manufacturer will also carry a concept pickup car called IMV 0 or referred to as Rangga Concept which was introduced at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) last August.

Reporting from the company's official website, Wednesday, October 18, the car was presented to meet the mobility needs of its users. In the booth, they will feature a series of programs in introducing the vehicle.

Toyota will bring a modified Rangga Concept to a 'Mobile Café' as well as an attractive look. This Booth will also feature stories that show the possibility of the car being designed from customer ideas.

Carrying the pickup type, Rangga Concept has a length of 5,300 mm, a width of 1,785 mm, a height of 1,740 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,085 mm. This car is able to accommodate passenger capacity of up to two people combined with a long tub.

Previously, the Rangga Concept, which was modified into the 'Mobile Café', was present at the Indonesia Modification and Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2023 and GIIAS 2023.

The naming "Rangga" is taken from the Javanese language, namely "Ronggo", which means "hero or knight". With the embedding of the name, it is believed that this vehicle will be trusted as a strong and resilient vehicle.

Toyota has a good story in the commercial industry with the first generation Kijang Pick Up in 1977. Toyota Kijang made a positive history because it was able to encourage the development of the automotive industry in Indonesia and played an important role in increasing national economic growth.

Back to JMS 2023, the manufacturer will bring along several concept models to celebrate one of the largest automotive events in Japan. Toyota will present FT-Se as its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) sports car.

Then, they will also feature the FT-3e concept featuring a dashing and stiff design on the back forward. The company says the design offered combines the front and aesthetic styles by keeping the body shape as simple as possible.

Finally, the manufacturer founded by Kiichiro Toyoda will also showcase a minivan concept model named Kayoibako EV. This car is said to be able to help small entrepreneurs deliver goods to various places.
